We fell in LOVE with London!

Easy to navigate. We were never lost, never confused, and never felt worried or out of place. London was a fantastic place to visit.

Our only regret is that we did not have more time to spend there. If I had to do the trip all over again, I would definitely spend much more time in London…at least half my time if not longer.

Perhaps, we will go back at some point and just spend all our time in England. Unfortunately, this time I did not get to touch my stones as we never made it to Stonehenge.

We have already started planning our next trip though! There is still so much of London that we did not get to see.

For example, one of our friends has recommended that we take some time to explore Mayfair. The Royal Academy of the Arts sounds fascinating and we could even pay a visit to Savile Row to find a new suit.

And of course, no trip to London would be complete without an afternoon tea, complete with tasty sandwiches and scones with jam and cream. We might also have to book a room at one of the fantastic boutique mayfair hotels that London has to offer.

What are some of your favourite things to do in London? Let us know your recommendations.

  1. We who live here say it’s great to live here, lousy to visit. So it’s great that you enjoyed!

Although I no longer live in London, and am unlikely to move back given the prices, I still enjoy visiting the city from time to time.
